This is the BEST nail salon in Portage! Every time I come the owners are super nice and I've never left unhappy. Here's an example of the amazing quality of work they provide.
The first time coming here it was ok, they messed my girls nails up didn't really try artistically the lines were all non symmetrical. So we came back paid for them to fix it, 20 not 25 which is the regular price. I'm thinking to myself it should have been free still paid. Third time around at this place they have to pedicures going and thats what we want, so we ask how long they tell us a 1 and 1/2 . So we come back 10 minutes early, and this nice lady walks in after. They help her and make us wait still, my only thoughts are we are definitely the only people of color who come here. The lady looks at her husband point to us indicating that we were next. He shakes his head speaks in his language an continuously makes us wait. The wife is nice the husband seems a little racist. So if you have any children of color wouldn't suggest this place.
Love this place. They are so sweet and they do such an amazing job. Love my nails. Thank you guys????

I have been very impressed. They were friendly and inviting. I loved the cat eye color selection and recommendations. I got my first set of gel nails done and 3 weeks later had them filled. I tend to be rough on my nails due to the nature of my jobs, but none broke, cracked, or chipped! I took my son in and they were fantastic, talking with him while doing his nails too. I will definitely be coming back!!

I will never go anywhere else in Portage/Kalamazoo to get my nails done again! I can't believe I worked next door for so long without going to Vicki Nails. Amazing service; the owners are so kind and accommodating. They are genuinely interested in their customers and make sure they have a great experience. Went in because of high ratings. Super friendly and inviting, not much of a color selection just mainly reds, Asked for a full set in the shape of coffin just not super long. When all said and done some are crooked, some are random shaped, some are squared, some are super thick others are thin, some are thick in spots thin in others. Overall it has been the absolute worst set of nails ive ever been given and it was the owner that did my nails, how on earth did they think it was quality work and let a customer leave like that, she knew i was upset because she kept looking at my face of horror. Needless to say I wont ever be going back. If i can post a pic id love to show the final work of art ???? (pic has been added)
